Daniel is a senior litigator practising in the firm’s Litigation and Insolvency and Restructuring practice groups, with a focus on complex commercial litigation and insolvency matters. In more recent years, he has developed a practice defending high net-worth individuals from actions affecting their assets.

Dan has appeared before every level of court in Alberta as lead counsel on a variety of trials, interlocutory hearings, appeals, commercial list matters, and other matters. He has also appeared in the Federal Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal in a variety of disputes. Additionally, he has acted as counsel on several Applications (both for the Applicant and Respondent) for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to joining the firm in 2014 as an Associate, Dan practised for ten years at a large law firm.
