Patrick has a diverse solicitor’s practice. He is happy to provide legal services for the firm’s clients in both official languages.

Patrick regularly assists clients with tax sensitive reorganizations of their businesses and estates. He divides his time between his corporate, commercial, estate planning and estate administration practices to provide holistic client-focused services. In addition to the above, he has experience in residential and commercial real estate, leasing and lending transactions (secured and unsecured) and franchises.

Though Patrick’s practice is largely collaborative, he is happy to assist clients to navigate their private and public law disputes. In that regard, Patrick has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Federal Court of Canada. He has also assisted clients in their matters before the various tribunals of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

Prior to joining Caron and Partners, Patrick gained experience with a boutique tax planning and wealth preservation firm in Calgary. Patrick also has experience working for small businesses and major Canadian retailers.
