I was called to the Alberta Bar in July 2010 after completing articles. I spent ten years at a regional firm before moving to Caron & Partners in February 2021.
Following my undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Calgary, I spent several years as an assistant to a Member of Parliament and I was also involved in several national and provincial political campaigns and elections.
In addition to my legal work, I am also a hockey official who continues to work elite levels of amateur and professional hockey, including the Western Hockey League and the American Hockey League.
I volunteer with Student Legal Assistance and in the past with the Court of Queen’s Bench Amicus Project and have volunteered for a number of community-based organizations doing charitable work in Calgary and the surrounding area.
Outside of work, I am the proud father of two children and a number of foster dogs. I enjoy spending time hiking in the mountains, camping and, of course, playing and watching hockey.
