Rekha practises primarily in immigration law, with extensive experience in temporary resident visas, Express Entry, federal skilled worker applications, Canadian experience class, Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program matters, family class sponsorships, refugee claims, pre-removal risk assessments, and humanitarian and compassionate applications.

She has a strong focus on Federal Court judicial review applications involving negative immigration decisions.

Rekha regularly appears before the Federal Court of Canada and immigration tribunals, including the Immigration Division, Refugee Protection Division, and Immigration Appeal Division. She has also appeared before the Alberta Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.
