Paul Jacobson, K.C.
Paul is a senior member of the Alberta Bar whose practise focuses on family wealth preservation. He works closely with lawyers, accountants, and financial planners to design bespoke, tax-efficient strategies, often incorporating trust structures to safeguard family wealth and legacy.
His early career focused on tax law, where he gained extensive experience in tax compliance and planning while working at a major accounting firm and completing the CICA In-Depth Tax Course.
Paul further developed his expertise in international taxation through advanced legal studies and has combined this knowledge with a long-standing interest in trust law. He has also lectured at the university level on trusts and their taxation.
He continues to provide strategic advice to clients through his independent practice while serving as senior counsel to the firm.
