Lucinda Wong is an associate practising in commercial litigation and immigration. She has acted in a wide variety of complex litigation matters from inception to trial, judicial reviews, appeals, and judgment enforcement. Lucinda specializes in employment law litigation (both employee and employer side), insolvency (both personal and corporate), personal injury (from minor to catastrophic injuries, including car accidents, slip and falls, and product liability) and other insurance matters (including fire insurance, tenant insurance, property insurance, and life insurance claims) as well as other areas of civil litigation. Lucinda also has significant experience in alternative dispute resolutions, including judicial dispute resolutions and private mediation in a variety of contexts.

On the immigration front, Lucinda possesses experience with a variety of permanent resident applications, in-Canada humanitarian and compassionate claims, refugee claims, family class sponsorships, spousal sponsorship appeals, pre-risk removal assessments (PRRA), inadmissibility, removals, immigration detention reviews and applications for temporary residence.

Lucinda has appeared before the Alberta Provincial Court, Court of Queen’s Bench, Alberta Court of Appeal, Federal Court, the Immigration Appeal Division, the Refugee Protection Division, and has conducted detention reviews.

Lucinda’s wide range of experience in both immigration and commercial litigation assists her in tailoring practical solutions for her clients. She enjoys the challenge of electronic document discovery and can ingest and produce complex productions in Eclipse SE.
